As the coronavirus pandemic conditions are changing, we've been considering how every aspect of life at summer camp in New York could be affected. Working with guidance from the American Camp Association and our state Health Department, we’ve been identifying essential principles and protocols which will guide us as we adjust how certain things are done at camp


While that's tons of young minds absorbing the advantages of their STEM experiences, that's even more parents witnessing growth and development in their children. Thus, there's much feedback to draw from and report on, from one summer alone.

Campers can have an all-access experience for two weeks or more with daily programming choices and access to all or any Academy programs offered, or they will attend a 1-week Academy Program to focus their time primarily on one sport or activity.

The Sports Academy at Brookwood Camps offers focused Academy programs each week taught by World-Class professional players and coaches who have reached the highest level in their field. The instructors are chosen not only for their ability to teach at the highest levels but also for their ability to relate to and coach kids of all ages and skill levels. 


Campers signed up for our 1-week Academy Programs will spend a full week immersed in the program of their choice, while general campers staying 2 weeks or more at camp have full access to join any Academy Program instructional session on any day they choose.
